IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Eventix. By creating an account, purchasing a ticket, listing an event, or otherwise accessing the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund & Cancellation Policy, and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
Welcome to Eventix ("Eventix", "we", "our", "us"). Eventix is a technology platform operated from Barbados that provides event listing, ticketing, check-in, advertising, mailing, affiliate marketing, developer API, and related services (collectively, the "Services") through the website located at eventix.cloud and any associated mobile applications (collectively, the "Platform").
Eventix acts solely as an intermediary marketplace. It is not the organiser, producer, host, or co-host of any event listed on the Platform. Eventix facilitates the transaction between Event Organisers and Attendees but is not a party to the ticket sale contract unless expressly stated otherwise.
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is higher), to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that: (a) you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement; (b) you are not barred from using the Platform under any applicable law; and (c) the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. We reserve the right to request proof of age or identity at any time.
To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to: (a) provide accurate, current, and complete registration information; (b) maintain and promptly update your information; (c) keep your login credentials confidential; and (d) accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@eventix.cloud if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. Eventix is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.
We may suspend or terminate any account that we reasonably believe has been compromised, used fraudulently, or is in violation of these Terms, without prior notice.
Organisers are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all event details, including but not limited to the event name, date, time, venue, description, ticket types, pricing, age restrictions, and any imagery or media. Eventix does not verify or endorse event content.
Organisers must deliver the event as advertised. Failure to do so may result in chargebacks, fund withholding, account suspension, or permanent removal from the Platform at Eventix's sole discretion.
Organisers are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, permits, and licences in every jurisdiction where their event is held or promoted, including but not limited to public entertainment licences, fire-safety regulations, noise ordinances, alcohol and food-service licences, and tax obligations (including VAT/GST where applicable). Eventix does not collect, withhold, file, or remit any taxes on an Organiser's behalf and does not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice. Organisers must independently assess their obligations and consult qualified professionals.
If an Organiser cancels an event, Eventix will process automatic full refunds (including platform fees) to all Attendees. For postponed events, existing tickets remain valid for the new date. If no replacement date is announced within ninety (90) days, the event is treated as cancelled and full refunds are issued. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for complete details.
By uploading Content, Organisers grant Eventix a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display such Content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Platform.
By purchasing a ticket, you enter into a contract directly with the Organiser, not with Eventix. Eventix acts only as the payment facilitator and marketplace intermediary.
Ticket prices are set by the Organiser and displayed in the Organiser's chosen currency. The Platform supports multi-currency display; however, all transactions are settled in Barbados Dollars (BBD) at the prevailing fixed exchange rate displayed at checkout. The amount charged to your payment method will be the BBD equivalent. Your card issuer or bank may apply its own foreign exchange fees or conversion rates, which are outside Eventix's control.
Eventix charges a platform service fee (commission) on paid ticket sales, deducted from the Organiser's proceeds. A separate payment processing fee may be charged to the Attendee at checkout. Current fee rates are published on our Pricing page and may be updated from time to time. Free events incur no platform fees.
The Platform supports credit/debit card payments via integrated payment processors, as well as cash-at-door and other methods as enabled by the Organiser. By providing payment information, you authorise Eventix and its payment processors to charge the applicable amounts.
Upon successful purchase, you will receive a digital ticket with a unique reference number and QR code. This ticket is your proof of purchase and must be presented at the event. Eventix is not responsible for tickets that are lost, deleted, or inaccessible due to device failure.
Tickets are non-transferable unless the Organiser has explicitly enabled transfer functionality. Unauthorised resale (scalping) of tickets purchased through the Platform is strictly prohibited and may result in ticket cancellation without refund and account termination.
Where enabled by the Organiser, Attendees may pay for tickets in instalments ("Split Pay"). By selecting Split Pay, you agree to the instalment schedule displayed at checkout. Failure to complete all scheduled payments may result in forfeiture of the ticket and any amounts already paid, at the Organiser's discretion. Split Pay availability, minimum ticket price thresholds, and instalment terms are set by each Organiser and may vary. Interest-free periods, if any, are disclosed at checkout.
Attendees may optionally purchase Cancel-For-Any-Reason (CFAR) protection at checkout. CFAR allows cancellation for any covered reason and provides reimbursement of the ticket price. CFAR is a separate product governed by its own terms — Eventix is not the insurer or guarantor. CFAR does not cover event cancellations or postponements (which are handled under Section 5.4). CFAR fees are non-refundable once the protection is activated. Protection fee rates, minimums, and maximums are disclosed at checkout. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details.
Refund policies are set by each Organiser and displayed on the event page. Attendees acknowledge and accept the Organiser's stated policy at the time of purchase. Eventix platform service fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or in the event of cancellation by the Organiser. Approved refunds are processed within five to ten (5–10) business days to the original payment method. For complete refund terms, see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
All ticket payments are received and held by Eventix on behalf of Organisers. Funds are released in stages: a portion may be available pre-event, additional funds are released post-event, and a refund reserve (typically 20–30% of net revenue) is held for forty-five (45) days after the event for standard Organisers, or up to one hundred and twenty (120) days for Organisers in elevated-risk regions (including the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, and Canada). These hold periods are calibrated to the Visa and Mastercard chargeback lifecycle — including first-cycle disputes, second presentment, pre-arbitration, and the 120-day fraud-reason chargeback window measured from the transaction date — so that late disputes can always be covered without clawing back funds already withdrawn. Reserve percentages and hold periods may be further adjusted based on Eventix's risk assessment of the Organiser or event.
Eventix reserves the right to lock or freeze an Organiser's funds in cases of suspected fraud, excessive chargebacks, regulatory investigation, or breach of these Terms. Locked funds will be released only upon satisfactory resolution of the issue.
Organisers may request payouts of available (released) funds. Payouts are processed to the banking information provided by the Organiser. Eventix is not liable for delays, losses, or failed transfers caused by incorrect, incomplete, or outdated banking details. Organisers are responsible for all applicable tax obligations, including income tax and VAT, in their respective jurisdictions.
For events with multiple co-owners (see Section 10A), payout requests require unanimous approval from all co-owners before funds are released. Each co-owner will receive an email notification and in-app alert when a payout is requested. If any co-owner rejects a payout, the requesting co-owner will be notified with the reason. This safeguard ensures all parties with revenue share in an event agree before funds leave the platform. Eventix is not responsible for disputes between co-owners regarding payout approvals.
Organisers may invite other registered Users to join their event management team as Co-Owners, Managers, or Operations staff. Each role grants specific permissions as configured by the event owner. The event owner retains ultimate control and may add, modify, or remove team members at any time.
Co-Owners may receive a revenue share percentage as set by the event owner. The total revenue share across all co-owners must not exceed 100%. Co-Owners acknowledge that: (a) revenue share does not transfer ownership of the event; (b) revenue is split from net proceeds after platform fees and reserves; (c) their share is paid only after all required payout approvals are obtained; and (d) the event owner may adjust revenue shares at any time with appropriate notice.
When setting custom revenue split percentages, all co-owners are advised that: (a) event expenses, overheads, and costs should be accounted for before revenue splits are finalised; (b) Eventix does not mediate financial disputes between co-owners; and (c) the primary organiser is responsible for ensuring all parties understand the financial arrangement before the event.
The event owner assigns granular permissions to each team member, including but not limited to: editing event details, managing tickets, viewing financials, check-in operations, managing attendees, and requesting payouts. Team members may only perform actions within their assigned permissions. Eventix is not liable for actions taken by team members within their authorised scope.
Organisers and authorised team members may manually issue tickets for in-person cash payments directly from the event management dashboard. Manually issued tickets: (a) are recorded in the system with a unique reference and QR code for scanning; (b) incur the platform service fee only (no bank/processing fees); (c) may optionally trigger a confirmation email to the buyer if an email address is provided; and (d) are the sole responsibility of the issuing Organiser regarding payment collection. Eventix does not verify, guarantee, or hold funds for cash transactions — the Organiser collects payment directly.
Organisers may enable at-door payment collection via supported payment terminals or cash. Door payment transactions are recorded on the Platform but may be subject to different processing terms. Eventix is not responsible for cash handling, point-of-sale device malfunctions, or discrepancies in door payment reconciliation.
Organisers may create affiliate offers for their events, allowing Affiliates to earn commissions on qualifying ticket sales made through their unique tracking links. Affiliate commissions, terms, and reward structures are set by the Organiser and displayed on the offer page. Eventix deducts a platform fee from affiliate rewards as disclosed in the offer terms. Affiliates must not use deceptive, misleading, or spammy promotional methods. Eventix reserves the right to revoke affiliate access, withhold commissions, or terminate accounts for violations. Commission payouts are subject to the same holding and reserve policies as Organiser funds.
The Eventix Micro-Partner Programme allows Users to earn tiered rewards by promoting the Platform. Programme terms, tier structures, commission decay schedules, and payout conditions are governed by the Micro-Partner Terms, which are incorporated herein by reference. Eventix may modify, suspend, or discontinue the programme at any time with reasonable notice.
Organisers may purchase advertising services through the Platform, including promoted event listings, banner advertisements, social media ad management, and AI-generated captions and flyers. Advertising fees are non-refundable once the campaign has commenced. Eventix reserves the right to reject, pause, or remove any advertisement that violates these Terms, applicable advertising standards, or community guidelines. Campaign performance metrics (impressions, clicks) are provided as estimates and are not guaranteed. Eventix is not liable for the performance or results of any advertising campaign.
The Platform offers AI-assisted features including event description generation, social media caption creation, flyer design, email content generation, and event recommendations. AI-generated content is provided "as is" and may contain errors or inaccuracies. Users are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all AI-generated content before publication. Eventix makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, originality, or fitness of AI-generated output. AI credit usage and billing are governed by the terms displayed at the time of purchase.
Organisers may use the Platform's mailing tools to communicate with their contacts and attendees. Organisers are solely responsible for: (a) obtaining valid consent from contacts before adding them to mailing lists; (b) complying with all applicable anti-spam and data protection laws (including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, PECR, and equivalent legislation); (c) honouring unsubscribe requests promptly; and (d) ensuring that all mailing content complies with applicable law. Eventix may suspend mailing privileges for Organisers who violate these obligations or generate excessive complaints.
Eventix provides a RESTful API for Developers to integrate with the Platform. API access is subject to these Terms and any additional API-specific documentation. API keys are personal, non-transferable, and must be kept confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your API keys.
API usage is subject to rate limits and daily request quotas. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary throttling or suspension. Developers must not use the API to: (a) scrape or harvest data in bulk; (b) create competing services; (c) circumvent Platform security or access controls; or (d) violate any applicable law.
Eventix may modify, deprecate, or discontinue API endpoints at any time. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of breaking changes, but do not guarantee backward compatibility.
The Platform provides direct messaging and event-based chat features. Users must not use messaging to: send unsolicited commercial messages (spam); harass, threaten, or abuse other Users; share illegal content; or engage in phishing or social engineering. Eventix may monitor, filter, or remove messages that violate these Terms. Eventix is not responsible for the content of messages sent between Users.
Attendees may leave ratings and reviews for events they have attended. Reviews must be honest, based on genuine experience, and must not contain defamatory, obscene, or misleading content. Eventix reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms. Eventix does not verify or endorse user reviews and is not liable for their content.
You agree not to:
Violation of any of the above may result in immediate account suspension or termination, forfeiture of funds, and referral to relevant law enforcement authorities.
All content, software, designs, logos, trademarks, trade names, and other intellectual property on the Platform are the exclusive property of Eventix or its licensors and are protected under the laws of Barbados and international intellectual property treaties. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any Platform intellectual property without our prior written consent. The "Eventix" name, logo, and "Get Tickets on Eventix" badges are registered trademarks.
Users retain ownership of Content they upload but grant Eventix the licence described in Section 5.5. Eventix is not obligated to monitor User Content but may do so at its discretion. If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed on the Platform, please send a written notice to support@eventix.cloud including: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the infringing material; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement of good-faith belief; and (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate.
Your use of the Platform is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, process, store, and protect your personal data. We comply with the Data Protection Act, 2019 of Barbados and endeavour to meet the standards of internationally recognised data protection frameworks (including GDPR) for the benefit of all Users regardless of location. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. By continuing to use the Platform, you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with that policy.
The Platform integrates with third-party services including payment processors, mapping services, AI providers, social media platforms, and analytics tools. Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. Eventix is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.
THE PLATFORM AND ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EVENTIX DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. EVENTIX DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. EVENTIX DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE QUALITY, SAFETY, LEGALITY, OR LEGITIMACY OF ANY EVENT LISTED ON THE PLATFORM.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Eventix, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law; (c) your Content; (d) your event (if you are an Organiser); (e) any dispute between you and an Attendee, Organiser, or other User; or (f) your negligence or wilful misconduct. This indemnification obligation survives termination of your account and these Terms.
Eventix shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics, pandemics, acts of government, war, terrorism, civil unrest, power outages, internet failures, cyberattacks, or third-party service disruptions.
You may close your account at any time by contacting support@eventix.cloud. Closing your account does not release you from any outstanding obligations, including pending payments, active split-pay plans, or fund reserves.
Eventix may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include (but are not limited to) violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, excessive chargebacks, legal or regulatory requirements, or extended inactivity. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Any funds lawfully owed to you will be released in accordance with the fund holding and reserve policies, less any amounts owed to Eventix or subject to dispute.
Sections relating to Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, Dispute Resolution, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive, shall survive termination of these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Barbados, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. The application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is expressly excluded.
Before initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to first contact Eventix at support@eventix.cloud and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for a period of at least thirty (30) days.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by binding arbitration administered under the rules of the Arbitration Act, Cap. 110 of the Laws of Barbados, or any successor legislation. The arbitration shall be conducted in Bridgetown, Barbados, in the English language, by a single arbitrator. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgement in any court of competent jurisdiction.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND EVENTIX AGREE THAT ALL DISPUTES SHALL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A CLASS ACTION, COLLECTIVE ACTION, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. You waive any right to participate in a class or collective arbitration or lawsuit.
Nothing in this Section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent actual or threatened infringement of intellectual property rights or other irreparable harm.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or arbitrator, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent.
The failure of Eventix to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorised representative of Eventix.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and any other policies or agreements referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Eventix regarding your use of the Platform and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, and representations.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights hereunder without Eventix's prior written consent. Eventix may freely assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of substantially all of its assets.
Eventix reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least fourteen (14) days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Platform and close your account.
By using the Platform, you consent to receive communications from Eventix electronically, including emails, push notifications, and in-platform messages. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications provided electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
