Eventix Refund & Cancellation Policy

    Last updated: 25 February 2026

Eventix operates as a ticketing marketplace. All ticket sales constitute a contract between the Attendee and the Event Organiser. Eventix facilitates payment processing but is not a party to the ticket sale unless explicitly stated.

    1. Organiser-Set Refund Policies

Each event displays the Organiser's refund policy on its event page. Organisers may offer full refunds, partial refunds, or no refunds at their sole discretion, subject to applicable law. Attendees acknowledge and accept the Organiser's stated policy at the time of purchase.

    • Refund requests must be directed to the Organiser via the Platform's messaging system or the contact details provided on the event page.
    • Eventix platform service fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or in the case of event cancellation by the Organiser.

    2. Event Cancellation by Organiser

If an Organiser cancels an event, Eventix will process a full automatic refund (including the platform service fee) to the Attendee's original payment method within 5–10 business days. No action is required by the Attendee.

    3. Event Postponement

If an event is postponed to a new date, existing tickets remain valid for the rescheduled date. If an Attendee cannot attend the new date, they may request a refund from the Organiser. Approval is at the Organiser's discretion, subject to their stated refund policy. If no new date is announced within 90 days of the original date, the event will be treated as cancelled and Section 2 applies.

    4. Cancel-For-Any-Reason (CFAR) Protection (Optional Add-On)

Attendees who purchase CFAR protection at checkout may cancel for any covered reason and receive a 100% reimbursement of the ticket price (including applicable fees and taxes). Claims must be submitted through the provider portal linked in the confirmation email. CFAR is a separate product governed by the provider's terms and conditions — Eventix is not the insurer or guarantor. CFAR does not cover event cancellations or postponements (covered under Sections 2–3).

    5. Exclusions

    • No refunds are issued for no-shows, duplicate purchases made in error after event entry, or reasons not covered by the Organiser's policy or CFAR terms.
    • Eventix is not liable for any losses arising from an Organiser's failure to deliver the advertised event experience.

    6. Dispute Resolution

Attendees should first contact the Organiser to resolve any refund dispute. If the dispute remains unresolved after 14 days, the Attendee may escalate the matter to Eventix Support at support@eventix.cloud. Eventix will review the case and may, at its sole discretion, mediate or issue a goodwill credit. All disputes are governed by applicable law.

    7. Processing Times

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the Attendee's financial institution.

This policy complies with applicable consumer protection laws. Organisers are required to comply with all local regulations governing ticket sales and refunds. Eventix reserves the right to update this policy at any time; changes take effect upon posting.
